60 MINUTE Zoom sessions and 90 minute in-person sessions

Facilitating safe, prayerful encounters with Jesus to renew spirit, soul and body

In Rooted Prayer sessions, we facilitate safe, prayerful encounters with Jesus through listening prayer. In your session, we will help you listen to your own heart and connect prayerfully with God for deep restoration of the soul. Your team will facilitate your personal conversation with God. Specifically, 

  • You’ll meet with one or two members of the R&B team.

  • You’ll have time to share the things from your story that feel important to you to share.

  • We’ll do our best to listen well.

  • We’ll pray for you just a bit and help you connect with God.

  • We’ll ask God some questions on your behalf and invite Jesus to be present with you in your story. 

  • You’ll have space and time to listen to God and to your own heart. You’ll share what you’re sensing with your team. 

  • Along the way, we’ll help you discern and respond to what you’re sensing in a way that feels safe and comfortable to you.

  • We’ll seek to honor you, never judging, shaming, or directing your journey of becoming more fully you.  

Sessions

To make an appointment, click on the button to the right. Appointments are available at these times (all EST):

  • Wednesdays, 10:30 am, 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm

  • Thursdays, 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm

If these times do not work for you, we do have limited daytime flexibility. Please let us know your availability, and we'll do our best to accommodate.

We do not offer professional counseling or psychotherapy, and we do not practice or condone conversion therapy. You must be at least 18 years of age to request a session.

Our Fee

We suggest a gift of $60 for sessions. Your gift can be made online here, or by check.  Please complete your intake form and schedule your session before paying. (Note, your gift is not tax-deductible.) Please send checks to 4301 Smith Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45212.

We never want the cost of a session to be prohibitive. Others have given to help underwrite scholarships. If you need financial assistance, please let us know when you schedule your session. Full and partial scholarships are available.

The value of your session is $120. Gifts of more than $60 help cover the cost of prayer room ministry, including our prayer room hours with clients, scholarships, scheduling and client communications, rent, office supplies, website support, accounting, training volunteers, payroll for three part-time staffers, and more.

Cancellation Policy

We ask that you give 24 hours notice when cancelling an appointment so we can alert staff and volunteers. Fees paid in advance of appointments are refundable with 24 hour notice of cancellation.

Inclement Weather Policy

Appointments will be cancelled and rescheduled when Cincinnati Public Schools are closed.
